10 Cent Fourth Issue Fractional fr# 1261 with the signatures of Allison and Spinner. Grading 65 EPQ GEM (exceptional paper quality) by PMG. The FR 1261 is the most elusive of the four Ten Cent Fourth Issue notes when one is trying to find a real Gem. A broadly-margined, brightly colored, simply gorgeous example of this less-often-seen 10¢ Fourth Issue number. By the end of the Fifth Issue in early 1876, there were more than enough silver coins circulating to meet the everyday needs of the nation and paper fractional more or less died out.
